A |     记者 李忠 摄杭州日报讯 这几天，杭州少年儿童公园内的“明星桂”已有少量花朵悄然绽放，细碎的金黄点缀于青绿枝叶间，为杭城捎来秋日的第一缕讯息。今年的桂花开得比往年要早一些，这背后藏着一个有趣的自然密码——“桂花蒸”。所谓“桂花蒸”，指的是桂花开花所需的一种特定天气状态：早晚微凉、中午微热、空气湿度较大。理想条件下，白天温度需在30℃以上且光照充足，夜间气温最好低于18℃，同时空气湿度保持在75%至85%。而近期杭州的天气，恰好满足这些条件。除气象条件外，水分也是桂花提早开花的关键。    Former Smash Mouth lead singer Steve Harwell is receiving hospice care treatment at home, a representative confirmed to CBS News Sunday. The artist — whose band is known for hits including "All Star" and "Walkin' on the Sun" — is being cared for by his fiancé, according to representative Robert Hayes. "My only additional comment is that we would hope that people would respect Steve and his family's privacy during this difficult time," Hayes said to CBS News. 

             

Harwell was previously diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, a form of heart disease.       Smash Mouth was formed in 1994. Harwell was with the band until 2021, when he retired. Zach Goode became the band's frontman last year, according to Smash Mouth's website. The band is also well known for its cover of the Monkee's classic "I'm a Believer."  The band has not yet publicly commented on Harwell's condition.                                  。桂花在开花期需水量大，但不能积水。上周台风“白海豚”过后充沛的雨水，为“明星桂”增加了环境湿度，成了一次天然的“催花雨”。当然，花开背后也离不开养护人员的精心照料。工作人员定期在树穴周围松土，保持土壤透气性、避免积水；同时辅以叶面施肥，为桂花树提供充足养分，让其以健康的姿态迎接花期。在此也提醒广大市民游客，目前“明星桂”尚未进入初花期，想要沉浸式赏桂、闻香，还需耐心等待。
